What you are buying
A digital file: a watercolor style portrait of your pet, made from the photo you send us, delivered by email. You are not buying a printed picture and nothing is shipped to you.
It is made to order
Each portrait is produced for one specific animal, on request, and has no value to anyone else. It is a custom made item. Production starts automatically when you place the order, so orders cannot be cancelled and portraits cannot be returned. Our Refund Policy sets out the cases where we refund you in full anyway, and the free revision we give when a portrait misses.
What you can do with it
Print it as many times as you like, for yourself, as a gift, on your wall, on a card. It is yours to use.
What you cannot do with it
Resell it, license it, put it on products you sell, or pass it off as your own artwork. If you want to use a portrait commercially, write to us first.
The photo you send
By uploading a photo you confirm it is yours to use, and that you are allowed to give it to us. Do not upload a photograph someone else took and owns.
Delivery
Portraits are delivered by email, normally within 24 hours and always within 5 business days. Check your spam folder before you write to us, because that is where it usually is.
What we do not promise
We do not promise a photographic likeness. This is an illustration, not a photograph, and it is supposed to look like a painting. We do promise it will be recognizably your animal, and if it is not, the Refund Policy tells you what we do about it.
Age
You need to be 18 or older to order.
Changes
If we change these terms, the change applies to orders placed after it. It never applies backwards to an order you already made.
