What we collect
- Your email address, so we can send you the preview and the finished portrait.
- The photo you upload. We need it to make the portrait. That is the only reason we ask for it.
- Basic shop data: what you bought, when, and the payment confirmation. Your card details never reach us. Payment is handled by Shopify and its payment providers.
What we do with your photo
We use it to create your portrait, and we keep it while your order is open so we can remake the portrait if you ask for a revision. After that it is deleted.
We do not sell photos. We do not put your pet in advertising unless you tell us in writing that we may. If you want your photo deleted sooner, ask and we delete it.
How the portrait is made
The artwork is generated with the help of artificial intelligence, from the photo you send, and then reviewed by a person before it reaches you. We say this plainly because you are buying a picture of your own animal and you deserve to know how it was made.
If you ask for a preview, we email you about that preview. We only send you marketing email if you choose it, and every email has an unsubscribe link that works. Our email is sent through Klaviyo.
